Srinagar is the heart of the Kashmir Valley. Surrounded by the beautiful Himalayan Mountains, with the sparkling Dal Lake and colorful houseboats and shikaras, it offers a stunning view. Top attractions in Srinagar include Mughal Gardens, Hari Parbat, Chashme Shahi Garden, and Pari Mahal.
After breakfast, head for a day trip to Sonmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold." Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Sind Valley on the way. Sonmarg is located at 2690 meters above sea level and is surrounded by stunning mountains and forests. Visit Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains year-round. Return to your hotel in Sonmarg for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, the "Meadow of Flowers," located at 8,800 feet above sea level. Known for its beautiful surroundings, Gulmarg was once a favorite summer retreat for the British. It is home to the world’s highest 18-hole golf course and a popular ski resort in winter. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds." Enroute, visit Pampore, famous for saffron fields, the cricket bat factory, and apple orchards. Pahalgam is a beautiful resort on the banks of the Lidder and Sheshnag rivers, known for its treks and the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath Shrine. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, you can opt for a pony ride to Basaran Valley (at an additional cost), a scenic meadow perfect for trekking and relaxation.
After breakfast, visit Aru Valley, known for its beautiful meadows and peaceful environment. It’s a popular base camp for trekkers heading to Kolahoi Glacier. Next, head to Betab Valley, named after the Bollywood film "Betab," surrounded by lush meadows, snow-capped mountains, and dense forests. Continue to Chandanwari, the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra. Drive back to Pahalgam, where the rest of the day is free for personal activities. Enjoy a stroll on Pahalgam's Mall Road.
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, enjoy a local sightseeing tour. Visit the Shankaracharya Temple and the beautiful Mughal Gardens, including Nishat (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar (Garden of Love), and Cheshmaashahi (Royal Spring). Explore the terraced flower beds, marble pavilions, fountains, and views of the snow-capped Himalayas. Also, visit Hazratbal Mosque. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, exploring the floating gardens, lotus gardens, vegetable gardens, and canals. You’ll also have the chance to visit a paper mache and wood carving handicraft shop. Overnight stay in a houseboat.
Morning free until departure. Transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight back home, carrying wonderful memories.
