You will be taken to a houseboat. Then, go on a city tour to visit Shankaracharya Temple, located on the highest hill in Srinagar. You'll also explore the famous Mughal Gardens – Chashme Shahi, Nishat, and Shalimar.
Today, you'll take a full-day trip to the beautiful Sonamarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold." It’s the last stop in Kashmir before reaching Ladakh. Located at an altitude of 2743 meters above sea level, Sonamarg is known for its fast-flowing Sindh River, which is great for trout and masher fishing in the summer. You can also choose to take a pony ride to a glacier to enjoy some snow and ice (at your own cost). In the evening, return to your hotel in Srinagar for a comfortable overnight stay.
In the morning, head to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds," where the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake meet. On the way, stop at the Awantipura Ruins, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman. Once in Pahalgam, enjoy the beautiful surroundings or take a short 2 km walk to Baisaren, a small village with scenic views, surrounded by pine and fir trees. Stay overnight in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, the "Meadow of Flowers." The journey from Srinagar to Gulmarg is stunning and will leave you in awe. Gulmarg is famous worldwide for skiing and snowboarding. During the British era, it became a popular resort for Europeans, who built a European-style hill station and named it Gulmarg. In Gulmarg, you'll find European-style surroundings and an 18-hole golf course. Stay overnight in a hotel in Gulmarg.
After breakfast, enjoy the Gondola Cable Car ride, the highest in the world and longest in Asia (at your own cost). You can take photos, go horse riding, and shop at this snowy spot. In the afternoon, return to Srinagar and visit the remaining local sights. Stay overnight in a houseboat in Srinagar.
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your flight, taking with you happy memories of your unforgettable trip.
